I drove the program for Strategic Innovation Group in Philips in providing an integrated experience for a suite of healthcare solutions for emerging markets. The suite consisted of multiple applications, point of care devices and backend cloud infrastructure for managing a hospital, its personnel and patient care. My role was to harmonize the experience across the platform and ensure that the whole suite of products behaved and responded as a part of a connected ecosystem.

Defining the Multimodal HMI for Jaguar Land Rover in the 2015 and 2016 Production Vehicles

I had the opportunity to work on designing multi-modal user interfaces for Jaguar Land Rover in the 2015 and 2016 production vehicles. This project was carried out at Jaguar-Land Rover Gaydon center in Warwick, United Kingdom where I was a part of an international multi-disciplinary team of designers, researchers and engineers. My specific role in designing the voice interface and ensuring that the visuals and speech worked in harmony to prevent driver distraction and discomfort while driving.

Redefining the User Experience of Computed Tomography (CT) Scan Software Interface

I drove this project for a GE Healthcare who wanted to understand the consumers of CT scanners in India and needed actionable insights for driving the next generation of their applications. The team carried out extensive ethnographic deep-dives across 5 locations in India using methods such as expert analysis, fly on the wall observations, user interviews and usability evaluations for the current CT scanner. Based on these insights, I pitched for an optimized workflow and presented multiple design concepts for the same.

Defining the Dynamic Experience for the Customers of Heavy Equipments Through Digital Sales Book

The project aimed to create an application for Mahindra's heavy machinery equipment sales-people to drive sales by providing a unique, interactive experience on a tablet. The app provided an immersive experience to demonstrate the product features that would replace the need for physical books, pamphlets and demos. The app was designed to accommodate 11 Indian languages.

While working with a Panasonic Japan on re-imagining their digital book experience, the team also worked on a new direction which focused on infusing a social experience for the readers on the platform. Users could annotate, discuss and share their opinions and thoughts while reading which would create a unique experience that would help attract and retain users to the platform.

Experience Design of Digital Book Reader

Panasonic Japan wanted to deliver a differentiated value proposition for an e-book reader in a crowded and undifferentiated market. The design team came up with multiple explorations for the client and 2 directions for reimaging the reading experience were taken forward. The first direction was to improve the experience of how people read and organize their content while providing a flexible interface in which readers could capture, collate and archive content as per their needs.
